About

The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is a volunteer group made up of parents and carers who work together to support our school. We raise funds, strengthen the community, and work in partnership with the school with the goal of improving the school experience for every student.

We rely on the support of parents to keep the P&C running. You can help by coming to a meeting, by volunteering at events or even joining the P&C. Everyone is welcome!

P&C Meetings are held in the 3rd and 7th week of the school term, on Tuesdays at 7.00pm in the school library.

Events

Welcome all new and returning parents and carers! The EFPS P&C invites you for a first day catch up cup of tea or coffee for all parents, after drop off. Usually on the south side of the oval near the blue building. Keep an eye out for connect for more info

Our social highlight of the year with this hilarious night of quiz, dance, competitions, auctions, great prizes and the all the jaw dropping costumes. Get a group of 12 people together, choose a theme and go all out! Themes are registered when booking your table on this site, in advance to make sure there are no double ups.

The kids’ night of nights! Disco in the school hall with a DJ and plenty of dancing!

At elections and other events, the school community bakes delicious treats which are always a winner

Thanks to the P&C we’ve been able to support ARTEX and Little ARTEX each year as well as the popular ‘ARTIST IN RESIDENCE’  showcasing the students’ artwork in a gallery setting, as well as selling professional art. The students get a real sense of achievement from seeing their work recognised and our local art community always astounds with their talent and generosity.

A Family Favourite of the EFPS social calendar, this event is a fantastic opportunity for dads/mums/carers and their kids to camp out on the school oval for a night of fun together, while also meeting other dads/mums/ carers and building a stronger school community.

Get Involved

There are many ways you can get involved:

  • Attend a meeting
  • Volunteer to help out at a fundraising event
  • Bringing a great idea to the P&C
  • Or join the P&C!

Getting involved in P&C activities is a great way to meet other people in our school community. If you are not able to come along to meetings, keep an eye on our website, the Facebook page, school newsletter or messages from your class rep to see how you can help out. There are over 300 families at our school, if every family helps with just one activity a year, we share the workload and achieve amazing things!
